Eleven roads will be repaired across Dorset in October with some routes set to be partially closed or shut.
Dorset Highway's maintenance crews are out across the county continuing to repair road damage and keep key routes in good condition.
Dorset Council has released the locations and timings of a number of roadworks across its area, which are taking place on key commuter routes and residential roads.
Some of these roads will see reduced speed limits, carriageway closures or be closed during the day or night in a bid to reduce disruption at peak times.
Motorists are being advised to allow plenty of journey time if they are using these roads.
Dorset Council will be repairing sections of the following roads in October:
Charmouth Road, Lyme Regis – Thursday, October 1 to Saturday, October 3
Night closure between 7pm to 6am
West Elworth – Monday, October 5
Road closed weekdays 9am to 4pm
A37, Stratton – Monday, October 5 to Friday, October 9
Temporary lights with contraflow under bridge 9.30am to 3.30pm for various maintenance works
Killicks Hill, Portland – Tuesday, October 6
Toad closed 9am to 4pm
A350, Compton Abbas to West Mulberry – Wednesday, October 7
Road closed 9am to 4pm
Friary Lane, Dorchester – Friday, October 9
Road closed 9am to 4pm
A357, Bagber Bridge to Puxey – Friday, October 9 to Thursday, October 22
Road closed weekdays 9am to 4pm
A30, Babylon Hill – Monday, October 12 to Monday, November 9
Lane closure and speed reduced to 40mph. Strengthening of Babylon Hill underpass concrete structure
Newmans Lane, West Moors – Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23
Road closed 9am to 4pm
Clarence Road & Maud Road, Dorchester – Monday, October 26 to Wednesday, October 28
Road closed 9am to 4pm
A352 Horsecastle Lane, Sherborne – Thursday, October 29 to Saturday, October 31
Night closure 7pm to 6am
Diverson routes of road closures will be signposted and available online on Travel Dorset's website.
