A round-up of cases from Salisbury Magistrates Court:

FRANCES PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE, aged 46, of Anderson Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in Salisbury on June 11. On the same day Pleydell-Bouverie used threatening or abusive behaviour within the hearing or sight of someone likely to be impacted. The defendant pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a community protection notice, after she was found shouting and swearing abusively towards her neighbours. Pleydell-Bouverie was fined £100 and her time spent in custody was considered time served for the offence.

EDWARD WYLES, aged 30, of Barnard Street, Salisbury, was found guilty of damaging a front door to the value of £200 in Salisbury on January 22. He pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour while drunk in Castle Street on the same day. Wyles also pleaded guilty to damaging a custody cell to the value of £65 belonging to Wiltshire Police on January 23. He was fined £80 in total and ordered to pay compensation of £60. The defendant’s time spent in custody was considered time served for the offence.

STEPHEN HOBSON, aged 18, of Partridge Way, Old Sarum, pleaded guilty to assaulting another male through beating in Salisbury on July 28 last year. Hobson also pleaded guilty to using or threatening unlawful violence towards another on November 21 last year. He was referred to Wiltshire youth offender panel for a contract having effect for 12 months concurrent, and was ordered to pay a total of £150 in compensation.

OLIVER BROOME, aged 28, of Barnard Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating in Devizes on October 21 last year. He was ordered to comply with requirements including alcohol treatment, a daily curfew and attending appointments or activities as instructed by officers. Broome was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £90. A restraining order was implemented to protect the victim from further violence.

Heard at Swindon Magistrates:

ALAN PILGRIM, aged 41, of Churchill Court, Wilton, pleaded guilty to offences including assault and property damage. On January 21 the defendant assaulted a woman by beating in Wilton, and on January 22 he intentionally damaged a window and resisted a police officer. Pilgrim indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting two escort officers in Wilton on January 22. He was committed to prison for nine weeks and was ordered to pay compensation of £500.
