A large pile of wood on land at Buckham Down near Beaminster caught fire yesterday.
At 12.56 on Thursday, September 17 a crew from Beaminster and Crewkerne attended the fire that involved a large wood pile on the land off the A3066.
The pile was well alight and crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets.

It was the second shout of the day for Beaminster Fire Station, whose crews had spent the early hours of Thursday morning battling a tractor fire.
