An elderly man has been taken to hospital after his car collided with the front of a house.
Police said a man aged in his 80s suffered minor injuries when his car crashed into a property in Church Road, Preston at around 10am today.
It is understood he was trying to manoeuvre his silver Nissan Note when his vehicle knocked down a fence and collided with the house, a Haven holiday property.
Two fire engines from Weymouth station, police and paramedics were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital after initial assessment.
Recovery was requested for the car, which suffered extensive front end damage.
The house has not been significantly damaged and no one is believed to have been inside when the car hit it.
