A sheep found itself in a precarious situation balancing on the edge of a flooded quarry on Wednesday.
The sheep was teetering on a bank overlooking a 20 metre deep flooded quarry in Sheffield, Penzance.
The fire service was called at 12.26 on September 2 and sent an appliance from Penzance as well as the water rescue vehicles.

The crew, water rescue technicians and two officers co-ordinated the rescue that successfully brought the sheep to safety.
The RSPCA was also informed.
