A similar entry to last week in the slaughter ring with good entries again from many regular vendors.
Trade very much similar to recent weeks but slightly fewer premium types reducing the overall averages a little.
Top value at £1,517 was for a well covered single suckled Charolais steer from Messrs Old of Padstow purchased by David King of Exeter.
The Julian Family from Summercourt leading the averages again this week with a 557kg single suckled Limousin x heifer at 228p/kg, bought by J.V. Richards Ltd of Perranwell Station.
Top value heifer for the day was from Messrs. A.J. & S.T. Richards realising £1,356 purchased by Peter Morris Butchers of St Columb.

A fantastic entry of cull cows together with three cull bulls, much increased on previous weeks but containing a large proportion of lean straight out of parlour dairy cows.
However, trade for all was excellent particularly for the heavy, well-fleshed types, top value being £1,330 for a South Devon x for Mr R.R. Quinney of Veryan who also led the averages at 170p/kg for a Limousin x cow both selling to David King of Exeter.
A heavy and well-fleshed Friesian Holstein from Messrs C.J. Osborne of Fraddon realised total value of £1,133 and top dairy average of 135p/kg also selling to David King.
