Six sheep in Dorset have been killed after being mowed down.
They were targeted in a field overnight and run-over and police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information.
A spokesman for Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: "Between 8pm on Friday, August 21 and 8am on Saturday, August 22, an intruder has gained access to a field in the Sixpenny Handley area and run-over six sheep in a vehicle.

"We are asking anyone who was driving in the area at that time to review any dash cam footage and get in contact if they have any information which may assist us.
"Likewise if anyone witnessed any vehicles or persons acting suspiciously in the area please get in contact. If you have information please email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk quoting reference number 55200125905.
"This is an appalling crime."
