A 20-YEAR-OLD man is believed to have suffered 'life-changing injuries' following a crash involving a car and a HGV.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Tuesday, August 18 shortly after 6pm, following a crash on the A358 at Eastcombe near Bishops Lydeard.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "The ambulance service also attended and the driver of the car, a 20-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with what are believed to be life-changing injuries. The driver of the HGV was unharmed.
“A temporary road closure was put in place to facilitate an investigation and both vehicles were recovered from the scene.
“Investigations into the cause of the incident are ongoing.”
