Rural crime police are today appealing for information on the theft of 71 Suffolk cross mules ewe lambs from Bratton Clovelly, near Okehampton.
The lambs have a red spray mark on the left hand side of their necks and ears.
They were stolen between August 5 and August 12.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police by calling 101 or, if wishing to remain anonymous, to call the Rural crime Hotline on 0800 7830137.
They should quote the crime reference: CR/068266/20.
