There have been no new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, according to the latest figures.
There were 948 lab-confirmed cases of the virus in the local authority area as of 6.30pm on Wednesday.
Up until Wednesday there have been 313,798 cases of the virus across the UK - but this figure is awaiting an update.
No deaths related to coronavirus were recorded across Cornwall in the latest week of Office for National Statistics information, released on Tuesday.
The latest figures from the ONS, which has been collating data for deaths in all settings, including hospitals, care homes and the wider community, relate to the week of July 25 and July 31, but were registered up to August 8, show no deaths having been recorded anywhere in Cornwall.
It means that Cornwall's overall coronavirus death toll continues to stand at 208, a figure that has remained static since July 21, when it rose by one on the previous week's update.
There have been no hospital deaths since July 2.
Nationally a further eight people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,452.
Patients were aged between 75 and 90 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
No deaths have been reported in the south west in the last 24 hours.
One death has also been reported by NHS England where there was no positive Covid-19 test result, but the virus had been documented as a suspected direct or underlying cause on the death certificate.
The rate of infection in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly stands at 165.8 cases per 100,000 people, far lower than the England average of 481.4.
