Dorset Police are today warning farmers in the Halstock area to be on the lookout for a suspicious vehicle.

The vehicle in question is a grey Ford Focus estate with an Irish registration plate.

This vehicle has been seen in suspicious circumstances on a farm in the Halstock area over the last few hours, when approached the vehicle left at speed.

The police have warned: "This vehicle may well visit other areas of the county so please be on the lookout."

These are all the details that the police currently have.

If this vehicle or other vehicles are seen acting suspiciously, police as you to gather as much information as possible such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers and if it’s safe to do so please do take a photograph, but not to put yourself in danger to do this.
