Police are urging residents to be on the lookout for a 'suspicious vehicle' after it left at speed when approached on a west Dorset farm.
The vehicle is a grey Ford Focus estate with and Irish registration plate.
At 1.30pm on Thursday, the car attended a farm, with four males on board. They appeared to show interest in the outbuildings before driving off quickly when spotted.
A spokesman for Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: "This vehicle has been seen in suspicious circumstances on a farm in the Halstock area over the last few hours, when approached the vehicle left at speed.
"This vehicle may well visit other areas of the county so please be on the lookout.
"If this vehicle or other vehicles are seen acting suspiciously, please gather as much information as possible such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers and if it’s safe to do so please do take a photograph, don’t put yourself in danger to do this.
