POLICE have issued CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to following a 'handbag theft and fraudulent bank card use' in Weymouth.
A handbag containing bank cards was taken from a bench outside Poundland on New Bond Street, while the owner was sitting nearby, police say.
One of the bank cards was used a short time later at Matalan on Jubilee Close.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 11.20am on Wednesday July 15.
Police Constable Jan Steele, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of my investigation I have obtained CCTV images of a woman who was captured using the stolen bank card.
“I would urge anyone who recognises her to please get in touch.”
