POLICE have stepped up their efforts to find a Taunton man who has absconded from prison after 13 years behind bars.
Shannon Gray, 38, simply walked out of Leyhill open prison over the weekend and has not been seen since.
Police have released a CCTV image of Gray, who was last seen at the prison near Tortworth, South Gloucestershire, at about 6pm on Saturday (August 8).
He is described as white, about 5ft 11ins and of slight build.
CCTV shows he was wearing navy blue jogging bottoms, a grey T-shirt and grey trainers.
Gray is serving an indeterminate sentence following his conviction in 2007 for wounding with intent.
