Firefighters in Bridport paid tribute to colleagues and those who lost their lives in Beirut.

An explosion in Beirut on Tuesday has killed at least 137 people and injured around 5,000 others.

A fire started in the roof of a warehouse at the Port of Beirut before a large explosion.

Firefighters across west Dorset held a minute's silence at 12noon today (Friday).

A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "Our thoughts are with all the people affected during this time."
