A MAN has been charged with breaching bail conditions after ignoring a ban placed upon him.
Joseph Blaxall, 31, of no fixed address, was charged last week with possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article.
He was released on conditional bail and was due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on September 18.
As part of his bail conditions, he was banned from entering a designated area of Salisbury city centre.
However, on August 5 he breached these conditions and was today charged with this additional offence.
He has been remanded to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on August 7.
Sgt Keith Jackson said: “Team 1 are continuing to work hard to ensure Salisbury city centre remains a safe place to live, work and socialise and offenders who fail to adhere to the bail conditions given will be caught and put before the courts.”
