This dramatic photo shows firefighters tackling a tractor on fire in Boyton near Launceston.
Fortunately the farmer managed to get the tractor to a safe place and, in doing so, saved his hayfield.
The fire took place on Tuesday, July 21.
Launceston Community Fire Station sent both fire appliances and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus succeeded in putting the fire out.
The fire station congratulated the farmer on Twitter for thinking and acting so quickly.
