TAUNTON'S Cosy Club venue isn't opening until next month following lockdown.
While many other pubs and eateries in the county town served up food and drink last Saturday after being closed for 14 weeks, the Cosy Club in Hunts Court, Corporation Street, is waiting until "early August".
A total of 13 Cosy Clubs in other areas such as Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester and Plymouth opened their doors on Wednesday (July 8).
Six more such as Bath, Leeds and York will welcome back customers next Wednesday (July 15).
But Taunton, along with Bournemouth, Derby, Exeter, Hereford, Ipswich and Worcester, is waiting a few more weeks.
The venues in Cardiff, Cardiff Bay and Leicester are waiting for government guidelines.
In a video message to customers, the Cosy Club says: "We can't wait to welcome you back.
"We want to ensure you're comfortable when you do visit again,
"So, we have ten surefire ways to look after you to keep you safe."
It then lists the safety measures it will put in place to keep people safe.
