MOTORISTS are being urged to drive carefully "especially when the roads are wet" following a crash yesterday (Friday).
Police have issued this picture of a three-vehicle smash in West Somerset last night.
Officers and firefighters attended the incident on the A39 at Carhampton.
All the occupants were free on the arrival of the emergency services and only suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed for a period following the incident at around 5.30pm.
Fire crews made the vehicles safe and dealt with various fluid leaks from vehicles to mitigate any environmental contamination.
A tweet from Avon and Somerset special constables said police attended road traffic collisions in the Williton and Wellington areas.
It added: "Please drive carefully, especially when the roads are wet."
