THE SKY above Stonehenge like you've never seen it before.
These amazing photos show nothing less than the Milky Way illuminating the sky above Wiltshire's World Heritage site.
They were taken by photographer Ashley Harter who on the night of June 27 travelled from Gloucester to Stonehenge with friends and fellow photographers Dale Hodgetts and Laura Bremer.
These pictures, a result of long exposure, were taken in the early hours of Sunday morning when, without a lens, all people could see was the silhouette of the stones.
