Police are warning dog owners
Police have issued a warning to dog owners in North Dorset.
Dorset Police Rural Crime Team have received a report of an attempted dog theft at a farm in North Dorset at 9.30am on Thursday morning (June 25).
A man was seen to run off after having upon being seen near the farm owner's dogs.
The male ran off to a vehicle that was possibly a black 4x4 before leaving.
The police have asked dog owners to review security around kennels and gardens should you keep your dog there.
