Kivells of Holsworthy saw over 1800 head of stock sold on Wednesday with a top call of £1305 for the pick of the store cattle on behalf of Ken Thorne of Hartland with Messrs Hill close up at £1100.
More than 200 calves again saw the trade remain very high with the best Blue bulls at £465 for Messrs Petherick and a massive £418 for a 27 day old South Devon bull on behalf of Timmy Martin of Camelford.
A sharp jump in the prime lamb trade saw 14 pens over £110 and to a top call of £117.50 for Messrs Brown of Inwardleigh with 339 cull sheep topping at £109 on behalf of Sam Vickery.
