Owner and director Louisa Sheppy said: "Musgrove Park, our local hospital, has looked after many Sheppy family members over the years.

"We have fond memories of the wonderful staff we have met during those times and the quality of care which was given.

"We recognise that it is time for us all to give something back to the NHS and we are truly delighted to be able to do this with our limited edition cider."

Dan Varley, community fundraiser for the hospital's charity Love Musgrove, said: "We’re so pleased to have the support of local cider producers Sheppy’s Cider, whose support will make a real difference to patients and staff right here at Musgrove Park Hospital.

"Funds are being used to support wellbeing initiatives for staff during this difficult time, as well as supporting those patients in isolation who at the moment cannot see their loved ones.

"We’re so thankful to the whole Sheppy’s team for their continued efforts to support the people of Somerset."
