A PIT bike has been seized by police, after neighbourhood officers witnessed it being ridden "in a careless and dangerous manner" around a Poole estate.
The small dirt bike, named after normally being used to navigate the pits during motocross events, was being ridden in Canford Heath on Wednesday. (June 10)
A spokesman for Dorset Police's Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Officers stopped rider and have seized his bike.
"He is being reported for a number of offences and will be dealt with accordingly.
"Riding unlicensed motorcycles in urban areas is incredibly dangerous and puts both the rider and members of the general public at risk of serious injury or worse."
