Police are searching for a man after a car was vandalised in Poundbury.

Dorset Police were called at just after 3.30am on Thursday, June 4 to a report of criminal damage to a vehicle on Challacombe Street in Poundbury.

It was reported that the rear windscreen and both the driver and passenger windows of a white Audi had been smashed with an unknown object.

A police spokesman said: "A man was seen to leave the area in the direction of Monkey’s Jump roundabout.

"Officers attended and made searches of the area but the offender was not located.

"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made."
