Fire crews and police have been dealing with a milk tanker lorry on fire on the A354, affecting traffic into Blandford.
Police said they were called at around 11.25am today after the wheel of the tanker caught alight near the Badger Roundabout.
Drivers travelling eastbound into Blandford were warned to be aware of the issue, which is believed to have been caused by the vehicle's brakes seizing.
In an update around 2pm police confirmed the road has now been cleared.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 11.25am on Monday June 1 to a report of a vehicle on fire on the Badger Roundabout in Blandford.
"It was reported that the wheel of a milk tanker was alight.
"Officers attended to assist the fire service with traffic control while they dealt with the incident."
