CALL OUT: Firefighters were sent to the scene at 7.11pm
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a chimney fire in Westonzoyland last night (Wednesday, May 13).
Firefighters from Burnham-on-Sea were sent to the scene on Fore Street shortly after 7pm yesterday evening.
On arrival crews confirmed that there was a fire within the chimney and got to work using chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera.
The fire was located and extinguished, debris was removed from the hearth using small tools and buckets.
