THERE are now 40 cases of coronavirus in Warrington, according to the latest government figures.
This is a rise of eight cases since yesterday, Tuesday.
This total does not include residents who could have Covid-19 but have not been tested as they are in self-isolation after showing symptoms.
Four patients, three men and a woman have so far died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for the virus.
All patients had been suffering from underlying health conditions.
As of today, 152,979 people in UK have been tested and 29,474 have tested positive.
Sadly 2,352 have died, an increase of 563 since yesterday.
