Three homes could be built on land adjacent to Hayes Barn at Broadwindsor – if the application gains planning consent, writes Trevor Bevins.

Dorset Council has received an application for the 0.2 hectare paddock site from Mr and Mrs R Wade asking for permission for three homes and associated garaging.

They say that if consent is given the homes would be finished with natural stone, brick and render with roofs of natural slate and double Roman clay tiles and timber fencing around the site. There would be enough parking for 12 cars.

Two of the homes would be three-bed and the other of four or more bedrooms

Comments on the application can be made until March 31 with a decision expected to be mane by a council officer using delegated powers.
