Police are investigating after three deer carcasses were discovered alongside a country road in Somerset.
The rural crime unit at Avon and Somerset Police are blaming poachers after the discovery at Crowcombe.
The carcasses of three deer were found near to the main car park at Crowcombe Park, an area frequently used by people walking to Seven Sisters.
A tweet from @ASPRuralCrime says: "Crowcombe just past the the main car park alongside the road three deer carcasses. Anyone see the poachers?"
In the tweet the police share a video of the herd.

In a further tweet the police shared more information. They wrote: "Remains just off the main road. So butchered by the side of the road.
"Anyone driving along the road at the all important time would have driven around them.
"Takes a bit of time to do all three so I hope for a lucky break and a dash cam. You don't know unless you ask."

The police say the incident likely took place on Monday 17 or Tuesday 18 February.
