A DISTRAUGHT dog owner is urging people to keep an eye out after her pet went missing last week on a walk.
Cara Ashton-Tune, 35, lost her Pomeranian chihuahua cross Lilly-Rose on January 9.
Her friend Mark had taken the dog on a walk near the Merlin pub at Drove Road in Swindon when he tripped over, letting the lead go.
Lilly-Rose then ran from him heading towards York Road before disappearing around 1.30pm.
Cara, of Queens Road in Royal Wootton Bassett, said: “I’m beating myself up over it, I just want her back. I’m so overwhelmed with it all and I’m just devastated.”
Lilly-Rose is almost five years old, she has dark brown fur, light brown paws and white fur around her mouth and neck. Anyone with information can call Cara on 07444758161.
