Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the theft of 100 sheep from farmland in the Trerulefoot area of East Cornwall between Thursday, January 2 and Monday, January 6.

The police are asking that anyone able to offer information regarding the stolen sheep is asked to email 101@dc.police.uk or call 101 quoting crime reference number CR/001799/20.

The rural crime team have advised farmers to ensure that the appropriate security is present and that they remain vigilant of suspicious activity.

The team are also reminding farmers that there is crime prevention advice on the Devon and Cornwall Police website: devon-cornwall.police.uk/advice/your-business.

Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or reporting online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
