A NEW farm access road at Whitchurch Canonicorum will be allowed to go ahead without the need to go through planning.

Dorset Council has decided that the proposed track, at Bridge Farm, Cards Mills Lane can be built without the need for prior planning approval.

The application, from Mr Michael Wood, said the track was an ‘agricultural access road’ to allow better access from the farmyard to two fields when the ground is waterlogged. He said the 250-metre track would also be helpful for the movement of livestock and for vehicles feeding livestock.
