In the prime lamb pens trade pushed on upwards with a top call of £98.20 on behalf of Messrs George of Monkleigh.
Premium on the day was 184p/kg for Ken & Mike Hill Bideford.
323 cull sheep topped at £129 for Angus Howie of Meeth with a market average of over £77. 146 store lambs sold to £80 for Messrs Holland of Dolton whilst the pick of the couples hit £212 for Danny Norman.
In the beef cattle pens best steers hit £1,165 for Messrs Heard of Hartland with best heifers at £865 for Mike & Ed Brown of Frithelstock.
159 dairy cattle topped at £2,000 for J&F Ley of Sutcombe with plenty between £1,700-£1,850.
Just one load of spring barley straw sold to £74p/tn on behalf of Rodney Cowle of Winkleigh.
