Kivells of Holsworthy welcomed a superb market full of stock for their Christmas Show and Sale, with the Champion prime beef animal reaching £1,347 on behalf of Stan Hopper of Rydon.
254 Store cattle saw the best at £1,250 again for Messrs Hopper with best heifers at £1,010 for Charolais from Ken & Richard Ford of Bideford.
16 Grazing cows saw plenty of interest with the best at £675. 118 Dairy cattle topped at 2,100 for Messrs Gilbert, with plenty between £1,600-£1,900.
270 Calves and Stirks topped at £535 for Messrs Lewis with the best baby calves to £412 for PH Collins. Over 300 Store sheep saw the 1st of this years couples hit £200 for Danny Norman of Dolton with Store lambs to £78.50 for Maxwell Allin.
991 Prime sheep saw a top call of 211p/kg with the very best at £100 for Messrs Cox of Iddesleigh.
346 Cull ewes topped at £107.50 for Charollais for Graham Hookway of St Giles with others at £103.
