TREES are falling down as strong winds batter Somerset.
Storm Atiyah has brought gusts of wind around 70mph to much of the south west this morning (December 9).
The storm has caused some damage around the county, including fallen trees.
Somerset County Council, the authority responsible for maintaining the 6,500kms of road network around the county, shared photos of a tree fallen in Taunton.
