A MAN has died following a crash that took place on farmland in Devon on Monday.
Police said that a single-vehicle collision took place on farmland in the Salcombe Regis area of Sidmouth, leaving a 73-year-old local man fatally injured.
No other vehicles or people were involved.
Alliance roads policing officers attended the scene and carried out a forensic collision investigation and a report will be prepared for the coroner, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
The incident involved a John Deere Gator all-terrain vehicle.
Emergency services were called at around 5.50pm. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Police thanked the ambulance and fire services for their help at the scene.
