Kivells of Holsworthy saw a very busy market on Wednesday which had an overall top call of £1806 for the pick of the dispersal from Phil Reed and family of Gidcott.
265 store cattle saw a top call of £1090 for M/S Elston and Son of Cheldon with heifers topping at £980 for M/S Curtis Partners LTD of Shebbear.
20 cull cows tipped at £820 for M/S Goaman and Son of Hartland whilst 246 calves sold to a much stronger trade with the best at £400 for Bradley Farms and heifers at £358 for RJ Weeks and Son.

843 prime sheep topped at £85.20 for C.J. Burrow of Welcombe with premium price on the day set at 178p/kg.
Best stock rams hit £220 for M/S Smallacombe with 200 store lambs topping at £67 for Nick Cooke of Torrington.
424 cull sheep topped at £85.50 for ewes from Mark Milten of Chapleton with cull rams to £70 for Rich Harding of Stroxwally.
