Rural insurer NFU Mutual has appointed Roz Hills as regional manager for the south west.
Roz joined NFU Mutual in 2017 as regional financial planning manager (south), working closely with financial advisors and agents in the area.
In her new role, Roz will be responsible for the development, sales and operational management of the regional team and agents at 43 branches across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Prior to joining NFU Mutual, Roz held a number of senior leadership roles with a national building society, culminating in her appointment as area director, which saw her leading a team of over 3000 people.
This broad experience of leading successful sales teams within the financial services sector made her the ideal candidate to lead the south west team.
Roz said: “I am looking forward to leading the dedicated and experienced south west team and helping our agencies deliver exceptional services to our customers.
“With a background in financial services, my experience will help me to develop our people and grow our general insurance, financial services and risk management services offering.”
Roz will be taking over from Chris Roberts who has retired after over 30 years with NFU Mutual. Chris joined the company in 1987 as a trainee inspector in Chester and worked in a number of roles across the organisation before becoming regional manager in 2014.
