Over 250 Devon and Somerset farmers and contractors were in for a big surprise at James Pryce Tractors' recent Grassland Demonstration Day in Tiverton.
The Vicon Fixbale 500 was shown for the first time in the UK and all were treated to a working demonstration of the new heavy duty fixed chamber baler, which is yet to be introduced to the world’s agricultural market.
The machine won’t be unveiled to the market until November at Agritechnica trade fair for agricultural technology.
On the day farmers and contractors were able to see the whole range of grassland Vicon Fastbale and Vicon’s Extra 7100 Vario fully isobus with triple mowers in real working conditions.
Andy Pryce, director at James Pryce Tractors, was very proud that his south west based dealership was chosen to provide a world first, by displaying and demonstrating the latest cutting edge technology in baling.
