Kivells of Holsworthy saw a very strong entry of 140 Dairy cattle which saw a top call of £1,800 on behalf of Messrs Burrows & Son of Woolacombe.
234 calves and stirks saw a useful trade although the edge was off slightly.
Top of the day was £372 for Rachel Poole with Blue Stirks whilst John Elliott topped the calves at £370.
201 Store cattle sold to a top call of £960 for steers in from A&J Axford of Derriton with heifers to £840 from Messrs Brown of Northlew road.
607 Prime sheep topped at £86 for Messrs Forfitt with premium on the day at 185p/kg from the same good farm.
511 Cull sheep saw a top call of £106 also from Messrs Forfitt with top rams from John Beer of Langtree.
771 Breeding sheep topped at £138 on behalf of Messrs Parker of Umberleigh whilst top rams reached £450 for WL Braund of Whitstone.
