Demand was good, both from commercial and butcher buyers.

Premium heifer a Limousin x from the same farm selling at 191p/kg to Trevarthens of Roskrow.
Top value of the day at £1,326 was a big 694kg Limousin x steer from Messrs. E.A. & A.R. Thomas of Sevenmilestone bought by J.V. Richards Ltd of Perranwell Station.

Another light entry of store cattle this week, but what was on offer is selling extremely well with plenty of demand around the ring.
A highlight this week was the consignment of big young Charolais cattle from the Trenestral Herd of Messrs. W.F. Palmer & Son of Ruan High Lanes – a standout grand pair of 18/19mo steers soared to £1,170 (pictured), others at £990 and £900 for a younger bunch of three including one under 11 months; with a trio of heifers around 17mo reaching £835.
A run of young mainly Aberdeen Angus sired stores from J & S Farms Ltd of Penzance saw steers to £605.
