Lodge & Thomas report a highly successful poultry sale at the new venue of B.H. White & Son Agricultural Store, Liskeard.

98 per cent of the cages were occupied by a fantastic entry of poultry from south-east Cornwall and beyond, drawing a large attendance of buyers from throughout the two counties.

This resulted in stiff competition and premium prices paid throughout the sale. Stars of the auction were a pair of White Calls selling to £82 for Mr. M. Connell of Callington.
