A MAN whose dog worried livestock has received a heavy financial penalty from Truro magistrates.
Adam James Grace, of Penwerris Road, Truro, pleaded guilty to four charges concerning a farm at Kehelland, near Camborne.
His dog worried sheep at Trevorrian Barton Farm on October 21 and 22, also on November 15 and April 5.
He was fined £250 for each offence - a total of £1,000 - and he was ordered to pay compensation of £2,571.
The 39 year-old was also ordered to pay £135 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
The offences were contrary to Sections 1 and 6 of the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953.
