TODAY'S livestock market by Kivells of Holsworthy saw an entry of 194 cattle, 227 calves & 1,306 sheep.
They sold to a top call of £1,135 for the best of the steers in from AJ Felce of Parkham with the best heifers reaching £1,000 for Ben Boundy of Bude.
Top cull cows came in from Graham May of Port Issac at £976.70 with premium at 118p/pkg.
227 Stirks & Calves topped at £555 for Hereford in from Messrs Schuttkacker & Son of Bere Alston with Shillingham Farms at £525 with the pick of the baby calves (4 weeks) at £350 for Messrs Jose.
779 Prime Sheep topped at £104.80 on behalf of Ken & Mike Hill of Bideford with Messrs Stephens close up at £103.50.
Premium on the day hit £223p/pkg on behalf of Honey Brothers.
299 Cull Sheep saw an easier trade with Messrs Cowling of St Gennys top the day at £94, Messrs Osborne at £85 and WM Folland at £85.
