A HOUSE fire in Breage was dealt with by firefighters from three different stations at lunchtime today.
One fire appliance from Helston Community Fire Station was mobilised to a report of a chimney fire in Higher Road, just before half past 12.
The crew found that the loft space was full of smoke and requested a further two fire crews, so that they could investigate if the fire had spread from the chimney.
Fire crews from Penzance and Hayle are also now in attendance.
The two-storey building measures, 16 metres by 12 metres and the first floor and loft space are smoke logged.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using a thermal imaging camera to check for fire spread.
Further updates will be added as more information becomes available.
