POWER has been restored to almost 1,000 homes in the Falmouth and Penryn area after suffering power cuts earlier today.
Western Power received reports of loss of power in the TR11 and surrounding areas.
A spokesman said: "We're pleased to say that all power supplies to Falmouth TR11 area are restored. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the power cut."
Hundreds of homes were also affected in the TR10 postcode but these have also been resolved.
The TR11 postcode covers the following places: Falmouth, Mawnan Smith, Durgan, Maenporth, Mylor Bridge, Helford Passage, Porth Navas, Budock Water, Angarrick, Brill, Cornwall, The Packet Quays, Goldenbank, Constantine, Flushing, Mylor, Trebarvah, Penjerrick and Carclew.
TR10 postcode: Penryn, Mabe, Longdowns, Treverva, Rame Cross, Edgcumbe, Cornwall, Rame, Wendron, Stockdale, Halfway House
