Meshaw YFC have had a busy month helping the community.
The Devon young farmers painted the Bishops Nympton Parish Hall and Shop. They were given 25 litres of paint and painted the front of the hall with a range of between 11 and 26 members getting stuck in - although some just pointed out the missed bits!
The hard working day was finished off with a BBQ. Everyone involved was very happy with the results and are hoping that the community enjoys the final result.
The Club has kindly offered Meshaw YFC discounted hall hire for meetings which is an extra bonus and, in acknowledgement of this generosity, Meshaw YFC has agreed to take on the challenge in years to come.
Meshaw YFC has also been busy cutting Meshaws Churchyard for the past three months. With the cold spring the grass growth got delayed but the weeks of dry heat has seen the grass growing faster than ever. One of the young farmers said that cutting the churchyard is not only great for the community but it's is also a great laugh and can build great friendships between younger and older members.
