Clothing brand Weird Fish is due to launch its store in Falmouth with a Summer Party on Saturday July 21 from 11am until 3pm.

Artist Julia Gash will join Weird Fish for the official opening of its new store and will be creating a large canvas featuring points of interest from all over Cornwall, live in store.

Julia will ask shoppers what their favourite thing about Cornwall is and will then use these answers as inspiration for the canvas.

The new store opened at the end of April. Ben Fiol, assistant store manager at the Weird Fish Falmouth store, commented: “We’re really excited about our Summer Party and look forward to welcoming plenty of customers through our doors.”

The store, based in Church Street, is the third store to open in Cornwall, following joining stores in Newquay and Truro.

John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “We hope to see many new faces at our Summer Party. Cornwall is a great fit for us, because like the Cornish, we love being out and about – our clothing reflects our love of the great outdoors.”
