Free Donkey Care workshops
Whether you are an experienced equine owner, have newly acquired donkeys or are thinking of purchasing one of our four-legged friends - this workshop is for you! Don't miss this opportunity to challenge your thinking, boost your donkey knowledge and meet like-minded people. Everything you learn can be taken home and used in your individual environment with your own donkeys.
Topics include:
Quality of Life - How do we assess quality of life? What are the implications of this? Includes the importance of the basic welfare of donkeys and their health needs.
Feeding & Nutrition - How much should my donkey eat? How should I manage my donkey's obesity? Includes basic rules of feeding, dieting and guidelines for elderly donkeys.
Basic Foot Care -Tips and advice on keeping your donkey's hooves happy and how to prepare for stress-free farrier visits!
